What We Do

InRedox develops, designs and manufactures nanostructured materials and components based on self-organized nanoporous Anodic Aluminum Oxide (AAO) and nanotubular Anodic Titanium Oxide (ATO) – Nature’s nanoscale honeycombs. InRedox’ products are organized into four product lines:

  • Nanofabrication Toolbox—a comprehensive selection of nanoporous and nanotubular ceramics (AAO and ATO) and accessories designed to facilitate the discovery, shorten the time to publish, and assist in demonstrating a prototype or developing a product.  Used by scientists and engineers in a wide variety of disciplines, common applications for these products include templated deposition, catalysis, energy conversion and storage, graphene studies, and photonic / plasmonic materials.
  • Nanoarrays and Coatingshighly engineered hybrid and composite nanomaterials other than blank AAO and ATO with additional functionalities enabled by templated deposition or conformal coatings in the nanopores.  Also include nanomaterials and nanoarrays created by other self-organized processes, such as elecrochemical or chemical (Si nanowires) etching of semiconductors or autocatalytic synthesis of metal nanoparticle suspensions.
  • Filtration and Separation Products—precisely tailored monodisperse ceramic membranes and membrane hardware for liquid and gas-phase filtration and separation.  Applications include size-based (1 to 200 nm) micro-, ultra and nanofiltration, particle size separation, water purification, catalytic membrane reactors, separation in harsh environments, API recovery, bioseparation and other processes where membranes with precise pore size are needed.
  • Life Science Products—materials that enable research and product development at the interface of life science, nanotechnology and microfabrication.  Precisely controlled structure and chemistry at the nanoscale is essential for existing and emerging applications in life science and related fields, such as cell culturing, virology, protein separation, bioanalysis, biosensing, point-of-care diagnostics and many others.

InRedox also pursues development of Ceramic MEMS products, taking advantage of the refractory nature of AAO and ATO, to create microstructures, microcomponents and microdevices that could reliably operate in harsh environments inaccessible with conventional MEMS platforms.

InRedox’s entire product line is available for immediate shipment and is accompanied by in depth technical support to help you reach your goals.  Let InRedox nanostructured materials give you a head start on your research.

Expertise and Capabilities

InRedox’ team has decades of expertise in developing and manufacturing electrochemically-assisted self-organized nanostructured materials for many diverse applications. Synthesis of these materials requires intimate understanding of the processes and precise control of the dozens of variable, not to mention years of hands-on know-how.

InRedox designed and commissioned its own manufacturing lines that support the combination of product quality and production volume. Our on-going discovery, development and engineering work is supported by advanced materials synthesis and characterization capabilities that allow us to quickly respond to customer demands and bring new products to the market.

Where We Are

InRedox is located in the Northern Front Range of Colorado, USA – a region of growing high-tech economy, a hub to many technology-based start-ups and a home to communities with excellent quality of life. Several universities (University of Colorado, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University) and government research laboratories (NIST, NOAA, NCAR) are accessible in less than an hour from InRedox, offering numerous opportunities for recruiting and collaborative research, as well as access to user facilities.
